Dimethyl Ether (DME) is a gas used as an extracting agent in the manufacture of food, pharmaceutical, medicinal, cosmetic and body care products.
ADDIPURE DME is perfectly suited for the extraction of leaves, flowers, herbs, pruning and processing residues.
ADDIPURE Dimethyl Ether (D.M.E) is a purest organic extracting agent produced ecologically in the European Union, with a purity of 99.99%, confirmed and certified regularly by independent Swiss laboratories.
The DME of ADDIPURE is suitable for foods, very pure and odourless.
ADDIPURE DME cannot be used with plastic extractors/plastic parts. Dimethyl ether can degrade these materials (microplastics).
For extractors made of plastic material/with plastic material parts we recommend ADDIPURE n-Butane.
Difference between D.M.E and N-butane:
Compared to n-Butane, DME allows the extraction, in the case of the hemp plant, of a wider spectrum of elements, which includes flavonoids and terpenes.
This makes ADDIPURE’s DME very interesting for the use and extraction of hemp for medicinal use: the broad extraction spectrum of Dimethyl Ether in fact allows a higher yield than N-Butane, offering a more complete and “Full Spectrum”.
Depending on the quantity of material inserted in the extractor, only one jar of ADDIPURE DME will be enough: thanks to the 500ml jar it is in fact possible to reduce waste compared to jars with a smaller content.
DME Addipure features:
